Build a connected discipline
Spend a finite point budget and accept keystone tradeoffs.
Your lattice budget is your character level, capped at 24 points. Each node has a point cost and maximum ranks. Nodes with predecessors require an allocated connected path; you cannot buy a late keystone on its own.
Exclusive keystones in a discipline compete with each other. They often improve one approach while limiting another. Read the full effect and account for equipment, position, healing, companions and rune interactions.
The browser editor shows a proposed allocation separately from the saved build. Review and commit when ready. Clearing a predecessor also requires dealing with any dependent nodes. An invalid or over-budget proposal is rejected without partly applying it.
