Vesperan begins at Return Court in Hearthwake. Your new character has no items or money. The nearby commons provide the renewable materials needed for your first food and tools; buying a starter kit is unnecessary.
You can pursue professional work, become a maker or carrier, organize encounters with other players, care for companions and contribute to shared projects. Your character and possessions persist between sessions. The world records completed work and meaningful decisions.
This wiki describes the installed 0.4.3 / Patch 03 development build. The available systems are playable, while whole-floor pacing, long-term economy balance and complete progression journeys remain under playtest. Treat recommended routes as starting points, not a final optimal build.
