Choose a lineage and vocation
Your role comes from a complete configuration.
New characters begin as Vanguard. Eight lineages provide different base statistics and three associated vocations each. You may change lineage while idle; doing so can clear an incompatible current vocation and its prepared vocation techniques.
A vocation requires character level eight and either two victories or two excellent professional batches. Learning it for the first time consumes one research note. Switching to the vocation also selects its matching lineage.
At character level 20, you can select another learned vocation as auxiliary study. A technique must still satisfy its own level and current vocation or auxiliary requirement. Read the complete prepared loadout after changing any of these choices.
