Rent equipment
Pay for temporary custody while respecting the return horizon.
A rental specifies an individual equipment object, a fee, collateral and a term from one hour to seven days. A different player accepts it in the offer region. The fee transfers to the owner and collateral is held for return.
A rented object can be used within its supported activity horizon but cannot be sold, gifted, consumed, enhanced, socketed or salvaged. Activities that would overrun its expiry are rejected; open-ended active work also has rental restrictions.
Returning or expiring the rental moves the object to its owner’s depot at the holder’s current location and returns collateral under the current rules. The object is not teleported back to its original home region. Plan pickup and return location as part of the agreement.
