Equipment and rune circuits
A circuit is built from real runes on equipped objects.
Equipment has weapon, armor, offhand, tool and accessory slots. Select an individual carried item for the appropriate slot. Its quality, material properties, enhancement and condition affect its usefulness; a template in the catalogue is not an owned object.
An object holds up to three different socketed runes. Installing a rune moves an actual rune item into that object; removing it returns the rune. A circuit may use at most six distinct rune nodes and eight directed links. All socket strain plus one strain per link must fit within 24.
Links cannot form a loop. A linked rune needs its parent runes to have triggered earlier in the current round. The link can strengthen that existing effect within its cap; it does not grant another trigger or another action. If you change equipment or sockets, review the circuit again.
