Levels and specialties
Professional progress is earned separately for each skill.
Vesperan has 36 profession definitions with independent experience and a first-floor numerical cap of 60. Completing work and related manufacturing earns experience in the registered skill and contributes to character experience.
Each profession has three specialties. At profession level 15, select one from the current specialty menu. The first selection is free; changing to a different specialty afterward consumes two research notes.
Specialty names are listed in the reference catalogue. Their mechanical role can favor quality, careful retention or shorter routine cycles, so examine your chosen method and measured output when comparing them. Excellent active batches also earn professional marks used by advancement and career records.
